Yesterday I crossed over the NM/TX border back into Texas for the last time 'coming home' to Texas. The next time I cross back, I will be coming here to visit....
yep, 3 weeks from today, I say good bye to this state and welcome New Mexico as my new home....
I spent this past week arranging the house and making room for the things I will take with me. The good thing about having two furnished houses is it makes the move easier. I won't be moving furniture. I think a jewelry armiore will be it. And I tool 3/4 of my clothes up this week so I won't have much to take.
I am excited that my long time friend and neighbor will come up with me. Together we will haul the rest of my clothes, the computer and a few other items and tools up with the two stinky dogs and one fussy kitty.... I am sure she will be fussy after 6+ hours in the car!
My new adventure has begun... and....I am ready. Boy do I have a LOT to do between now and then though!
