Bowling Rock

During all this digging that was going on Dave was beginning to dig out some impressive rocks. 
Several nice thick flat rocks I was having him save in a special area to be used later.

Some other rocks....
Well, not all were so flat.  

One particular rock was exceptionally round.

Dave pulled it out with the excavator watch it fall out of the dirt.

And roll.

And roll some more.....

down the driveway...

and then it turned....yep, round rocks do that. 

They chose their own path.

And this one did.  It rolled down the driveway and then spontaneously turned right out of sight. 

Dave's thought?  Well, my truck is down there, but the rocks going the other way....

Until the top of his truck suddenly rocked back and forth a few times.

Could it be?

Yep.  Bowling Rock was nestled in his rear quarter panel just behind the tire.  Nestled right into the dent it made..... which is still there today.....
