Haulin' Dirt.....

we have dug and moved dirt from one side to the other and back it seems!

Mainly we have dug out the side of the mountain to create dirt (And a LOT of rock - more on this later) so that we could add to the flat part of our "yard" and parking area for room to work.

We've created drive ways and parking areas where there was just a mountain side.  We've also reconfigured our driveway so we have wider turns at our switchbacks (Yet, our friends still have complaints!  *It's not for the faint at heart I guess)

And we've carved out the mountain to make room for our additions!

 Above Dave is slowly pushing dirt out in front to create some work area for the upcoming work on the porches and front of the house.... take note of the amount the room created by the peak protrudes over the lower bay window...
